11 ways to burn calories

If you have a gym at home or exercise equipment then you just have to trade the outdoors for the indoors and continue your exercise routine.  But what about if you do not own any exercise equipment and do not want to join a club?  How do you battle the extra flab and pounds that accumulate during the glorious binging holidays?  Here are a couple ideas to burn those extra calories indoors.
1. Walk around your house.  If you are on the phone, stand up and walk.
2. Do crunches/lounges while watching TV.
3. Dust off those exercise videos/DVD’s.
4. Utilize your stairway – walk up and down several times.  An excellent booty builder.
5. Use your can of beans/vegetables as weights.
6. Dance while cleaning.
7. Do speed cleaning.  Time yourself between chores.  You will work up a sweat.
8. Jump rope, and if you do not have one, just pretend you do.
9. Play chase with your pet.
10. Play chase with your husband
11. Organize your closets/attic.  Besides getting the benefits of an organized home, you will burn calories.
These are a few ideas to burn some calories during the winter without having to buy any exercise equipment or spend money on club memberships.  If you do any one of these every day, you will keep yourself in shape.
